OPAN® simplifies the process of patient registration and coordination for outpatient follow-up care. Our platform offers an efficient solution for the seamless registration and referral of patients in outpatient and inpatient care.
OPAN® registration has been established for over ten years in transition management from inpatient to outpatient settings. In collaboration with various stakeholders, it has played a key role in the standardization and digitalization of registration for Spitex and nursing homes.
Registration via OPAN® is more than just an “electronic referral”. Each registration is based on a flexible process that accompanies the transfer to an aftercare institution.
As part of its service, the OPAN® Support Team ensures and monitors the process so that feedback and status changes can be made promptly. This ensures a smooth exchange of information and efficient communication for registration.
Thanks to interfaces, all necessary data can be transmitted to the OPAN® platform in a structured manner by the referring physician. The recipient can also retrieve and process the data via the interface. However, OPAN® can also be used completely without interfaces in order to offer maximum flexibility.

Over the last 10 years, we have built up a comprehensive network that includes almost all hospitals and clinics as well as numerous medical practices and other service providers. Standardized application process
With OPAN®, you use a universal registration process that allows you to reach different service providers efficiently.
Depending on the registration type, specific data and mandatory fields are requested, but the process and status tracking always remain identical. OPAN® offers a comprehensive directory of service providers in outpatient and inpatient care. Every registration submitted via OPAN® is guaranteed to be processed. You will receive a prompt confirmation and can communicate with the recipient on a case-by-case basis throughout the entire registration process.
After submitting an application, you can submit additional data if required and provide the recipient with supplementary information. If a registration is rejected by the recipient, you have the option of assigning it to a new recipient. Registrations can also be canceled if necessary.
The OPAN® support team monitors the process (not the data) and ensures that all registrations are processed correctly and promptly.
Progress documentation
The automatically generated progress documentation provides a complete overview of all relevant information on the application and systematically documents all changes in the course of the process. It contains detailed information on the key events, including the time of the registration confirmation, the recipients of the registration and the person who carried out the dispatch. In addition, case-related communication in connection with the application is carefully recorded.
This comprehensive listing of all activities creates a seamless history. The documentation can be transferred manually or automatically to your specialist system via an interface to ensure long-term archiving.
